Once the update was installed it asked me to restart my computer and after that everything worked! Solved: Uninstall only Avid Pro Tools 2019.12, clean Register via Ccleaner, reboot, install new PT verison 2020.03. If I understood my process correctly then all you need to do is download the base version of the media center and then find the right update for your windows version and install that too.
